The coffee pot dribbles as you pour coffee and while filling the water resevoir in the back of the coffee maker. The condensation on the bottom of the lid drips into the resevoir in the back of the coffee maker, so it also sprays steam and hot water on you as you empty the coffee grounds - do NOT buy this coffee maker.

Reliable brewer makes good coffee, dependably. An auto-off feature would have been nice. Very easy to pour...no sloshes. The sneak-a-cup feature is OK if you don't mind very strong coffee. This is a bare-bones model with minimal features, but I would buy it again.

Black & Decker continues to produce the best value in coffee-brewing. All the necessary stuff without bells and whistles. Set it, forget it, have excellent coffee.

But caution: Amazon's product description says it comes with a water filter. Not mine. The reservoir can take one, but it wasn't in my package (fortunately, I had one left over from an earlier version of this model, so I didn't complain). If you want filtered water (recommended)check this out.

Another recommendation: I get better brew using a metal mesh filter instead of paper. The latter seems to absorb some of the coffee oils, detracting from flavor.
